What is MCP?
We’re excited to share a new step forward in Xvantage. Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets AI assistants and LLMs connect to the tools and data customers already use, so they can get answers and take action by simply asking in plain language.
Put simply, MCP helps you move faster. Ask a question or give a short command and the assistant does the work no complicated screens, no hunting through menus, just clear results. It’s USB-C for AI: plug in once and any assistant can connect to our tools.
Getting Started:
- Click Install within the MCP Tile
- Fill out a brief intake form with what you are looking for
- An Ingram Micro representative will connect with you to review your goals and confirm MCP fit.
